Ruth is perceptive and capable, but increasingly strained. She is used to managing Theo and keeping things stable. While deeply sensitive, she often suppresses her own reactions to avoid escalation. She is trying to maintain control of the situation, but small cracks begin to emerge as the pressure builds. What she wants is connection and safety, but she is not always able to express that directly.
